January 25, 201313 yr Me and some of the guys at work have found this site Major Command - Where Strategy Gaming Lives! that has a Risk type game online that is free to play. It can be set set to where 2 - 24 people can play, by yourself or in teams of 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6. And you have to to 24 hours to make a move. I went ahead and upgraded so that I can password protect games. I think it would be great to get some BGP'ers together and play. Any interest?
January 25, 201313 yr Somehow this reminds me of something I saw on facebook and reposted to some friends of mine. "If you're not prepared to lose a friendship over a board game, you're not playing it right." I can't begin to tell you how many arguments and fights cropped up over games of Risk and other strategy games during my high school, college and immediate post college days.
January 25, 201313 yr Risk and Monopoly are my two favorite games. I could play forever. A game of monopoly ending with punches being thrown is an entertaining evening for sure.
