The Breds move onto the championship game.

 

Huge game from McDonald tonight who I hear was playing with flu like symptoms.

 

He had over 20 pts I believe. Pretty balanced scoring for the Breds. Pangallo, Schulte, Beuter all had double figures in scoring.

 

Jordan Noble had a very nice game for the Cru. The kids is very quick around the basket.

Congrats to the Breds! Lots of talent.

 

Drew McDonald is tough to shut down. Great person too. Hard not to like that kid. He is good on so many levels.

Zac Pangallo played one heck of a game tonight with a couple of "nice" buckets in traffic. Schulte and McDonald, both playing with flu-like symptoms, could not be stopped as usual. Breds have "meltdown" in the 2hd as the Cru get within 4 at 31-27 near the end of the half. Dupont and Devoto are both getting quality playing time and taking advantage of it, this will help come district and regionals.

 

Noble for St. Henry was a "BEAST" tonight had to have at least 20 pts. & 10+ boards. :notworthy:

Congrats to NCC on the win. They have a very nice team. Altered a lot of shots (Schulte) and had a lot of deflections on passes that you thought would make it thru. Very impressed with Pangallo. He ran the show, got by his defender and shot the ball well. McDonald was too much inside for St.Henry. Best Big that we have played this year. Beuter nailed like 3 threes to start the game, nice smooth looking shot.

St.Henry plays well in spurts, but has to play harder and smarter for longer periods of time.

Proud of the Cru! Coach Faust coached his boys and kept it tighter than expected.

McDonald was definetly sick tonight. Sounded horrible when I interviewed him after the game.

 

Beuter was very efficient, despite sitting a lot due to foul trouble.

 

Pangallo gets better every time I see him. I like the way he plays.

Nice work I watched most of this game live.

I agree with Walter, Zack Pangallo improves every game I see him play. He is running the show very well, making good decisions and is shooting the ball extremely well off the dribble. Another key to the NCC success is the play of Brennan Devoto and Collin Dupont. Both are getting more minutes in the absence of Nick Seibert. Both seem to know their role and have stepped up on both ends of the floor. Drew McDonald has been sensational lately and Jake Schulte has been pretty consistent. Seems that Bueter is getting his stroke back, Breds just need him and Pangallo to stay out of foul trouble. Congratulations to St. Henry and Coach Dave Faust. The Cru has gotten a ton better from the beginning of the year and when it comes time for the regional draw there isnt anyone who will want to play St. Henry. Good Luck to the Breds against Newport in the championship game. I'm sure it will be an intense hard fought game against a very athletic Newport squad.
