Is St. Henry playing better?

 

I think so. I'm seeing more team play. Also excited to see senior Zach Carr in uniform and warming up. Looking forward to having him back---won't be soon enough!

St Henry played well as a team. Some nice shooters and guys that finished around the basket. Even with Cooper having a rough night, their depth is too much for most 9th region teams that don't have a strong bench.

 

Quote of the night was Sullivan yelling to one of his players "I want your heart to beat.....be the man!". Gotta love a coach with that intensity.

St.Henry just seems to bring out the worst in teams lately (see Camp.co.).

 

I said "no disrespect" and you say I accomplished it anyway. Oh well, I tried to be nice. I've only seen St Henry this one game and I clearly think Cooper is 30 points better when they come to play. Evidence, they were down 7 and went up 15 (22 pt difference) in less than a quarter and a half. If they come to play the whole game then it's easily 30 point difference. St Henry played hard and I hope they do well in their district but the talent level is wide between the two schools. JMO..

St Henry played bad in 2nd half....Cooper bad in 1st half? 12pt game....I don't think it's that wide. Both teams could have played better

Cooper fans say what you want but St Henry is much better than the record or reputation. They have a chance to be pretty competitive throughout the region at the end of the year. I've said for most of the early part of the season they need time but as of now...they should have won this game.

 

They can't put up 17pts in the 2nd half and expect to win. Sounds like the same type of thing that happend again Sheldon Clark in the Lex Christian Tourn. For me it starts with the seniors and they all need to step up and play better and play more consistent. Some of them have seen 3yrs of varsity but are being outplayed by underclassmen. With that said I have been very impressed with the play of senior guard Michael Best.

Sorry, but I am a Cooper fan and didn't disrespect St Henry at all. Actually as I said I thought Jordan Noble played great in the game. I went to this game actually because it was St Henry playing Cooper. I have a relative (Nick rectin #10) who starts for St Henry and wanted to watch him play. St Henry has a good team but the problem they ran into which is the same problem several teams run into against Cooper is Cooper's depth and size. After Jordan Noble they had no answer for the size under the basket that Cooper presents teams.
