Give us a Nate update.

Did not play.

Campbell County shot lights out tonight. Not sure what the final percentage numbers were.......but Campbell Co shot it well from 3 pt line. Mason Co was without starter Jake O'Mara tonight. He is possibly out for season due to knee surgery from football. Mason did miss him tonight, especially rebounding. Mason travels to Boone Co tomorrow night for a match up in Florence.

I would have to say that is probably correct. I am guessing Campbell shot above 50% from beyond the arc.

According to Danny Weddle's twitter, Holbrook had 38.

The kid can shoot from deep and take it to the rack.

Did Nate have a set back? It was mentioned in another thread he would play at least limited minutes.

Here is the article on the game and what it said about it:

CLARYVILLE | Though senior Campbell County star Nate McGovney was cleared on Wednesday to play basketball after his knee injuries, the Camels were in no hurry to rush him back onto the floor that night against Mason County.

Royals rally but can't erase big Camels lead

Holbrook held the fort it looks like for the Camels. 38 points !!! Somebody needs to find this kid on the floor.

They tried!

Big win for the Camels last night! Corey Holbrook finished with a career high-38 points, even as he was double teamed most of the game. Freshman Matt Wilson started and had some big rebounds in the second half and Garrett Geiman and DeAndre Jackson were essential on defense, forcing turnovers for points to extend the lead. Luke Franzen also had a notable performance with 3 3-pointers during the game. Camels shot 10-17 from behind the arc with 54.1% overall shooting. Campbell County takes on district-rival Bishop Brossart on Saturday.

I don't believe so. Not being a district game, I would have to believe Coach Russell decided to give him a little more time. He dressed and went through warm ups but never entered the game.
