Who is Owsley's head coach?

Paul Smith.

He graduated from Owsley County in 1962 and led the state in scoring with a 35 point average his senior year. Babe McCarthy recruited him to Mississippi State and he was a reserve guard his sophomore and junior season, before breaking into the starting lineup his senior year, the year Coach Gold took over. He had the consecutive free throw record in the SEC (44 straight) for about 20 years until it was finally broken by a Vanderbilt player in the mid-80's.

WOW...Congrats to Owsley County! South Floyd looked as if they could beat anyone Friday night at East Ridge, especially with their defense and inside game.
