Yes they were 12-27.

Yes they were 12-27.

Just can't do that. Can't win games against good teams shooting like that.

Having said that, Brossart shot very poorly, and they were still there in it against a top team in Cincinnati. This team can be very, very good. They're just very good right now.

  • ROGER BACON 54, BISHOP BROSSART 50: The unbeaten Spartans (8-0) from Cincinnati hit 7 of 11 three-pointers and held on to beat Brossart. Carlas Jackson, Austin Frentsos and Cody Niesen hit big threes in the fourth quarter to spark Roger Bacon. Jackson finished with 14 points and Frentsos with 13. Brossart was led by Drew Burns’ 14 points and 9 rebounds.

The 'stangs must be very, very good. Every team has one of those games. Looks like they got to the line and did what they had to do, just missed the FT's and shots. You really are not going to beat good teams like that. This is probably more of an anamoly than what they usually do. Have they shot FT's well this year?

Last night they hit 21-26 FT.

Last night they hit 21-26 FT.

I'd say as a team, they probably shot somewhere around the 70-75% range. That's just a guess though.

Good assessment! Played well, Shot poorly.

It was a war - very physical.

Roger Bacon was sick with their 7-11 three point shooting, and the Mustangs were sick with our 0-9 three point shooting as well - lol.

I've just got his bad feeling in my gut that we let the big one get away today.

Mustang, in the long run, this one doesn't mean much. A learning experience and move on. Hurts to lose but can't win them all.

These games only make you stronger for the post season when it really matters. Learning experience for the team and coaches. The big ones are in the post season.

Yes they were 12-27.

OUCH!!! That's the way it goes sometimes, just one of those games. Tough break for the 'Stangs. They had an overall GREAT showing in this tourney.

Very impressive win over PCC and hit a few FT and could have won over RB....to me very impressive.
