December 12, 201213 yr 9-13 over 1/4th of the way through the season. As of right now 12th in the Western Conference. I'm still almost positive they'll make the postseason, but having to play OKC or SAS in the first round (which is looking like the most likely outcome) would be devastating for them. This was supposed to be the "Last Hurrah" for Kobe....What happened? So Lakers fans, you worried yet?
December 12, 201213 yr If they can hover around the .500 mark until Nash gets back I think they'll be alright. Now if they're still struggling a month or so after Nash returns then I say its time to worry.
December 12, 201213 yr I thought they jumped the gun on firing Brown and really dropped the ball in hiring D'Antoni. Dwight is a mental midget and outside of him the team is a bunch of old dudes. I do not have much hope Nash is going to be the saving grace. They will find their way in to the playoffs but not buying the championship aspirations.

Nash is going to help but I don't think it will be enough. I think firing Brown was 100% the right decision, he shouldn't have been hired. A healthy Pau Gasol would be pretty helpful as well. Lakers starting PGs are the leagues worst in PPG. Kobe is having his best season in years and by far his most efficient and it's still not enough.

December 14, 201213 yr Anyone who is worried now is overreacting. Kind of like all the MVP chants for Melo. There is still 60 games left, a lot will change.
December 26, 201213 yr They will run off 6 straight when Nash and Gasol are back. At 5 now, right? Even though Nash has only played in 2.
