I would love to know how well Arlington does in other sports......

I searched, but couldn't really find any solid info on Arlington High School athletics, but I did go to Calpreps. I did a hypothetical match up between Arlington, and a couple of one win and winless teams here in Kentucky. The results? Arlington was wiped out in the projections.

 

This school has 1,500 students. Before people start blaming Bloomington South, they should probably be blaming and demanding more of a committment to athletics from those in charge (administration).

I'm not one for forefeit, but both coaches had to know that this could get extremely out of hand (nothing like this in their wildest dreams, I'm sure). I just have a hard time believing that getting beat 105 points does anything for it, either.

 

I realize to forfeit might do nothing for ones character, but I'm not really sure getting drilled

All nine players saw playing time. I really have a hard time understanding why a coach would have his team beat someone this bad. And yes, a beating like this could be avoided!

I'm surprised that Bloomington South only had 9 players present. I would think a school that size would have enough girls try out that more could have been kept on the varsity team. 9 isn't even enough to scrimmage in practice. Or perhaps they should have brought along some of the JV or Freshman team members. I believe that Arlington had lost 23 straight games, so they should have expected that the game might get out of hand, and used it as an opportunity to get some varsity experience for their younger players.

Maybe Arlington should hook up with Heritage Academy, they only scored 3 pts. the other night against Ludlow (42-3). :isurrender:
