Changing point of the game? St Henry scores first 4 points of 2nd quarter to make it 18-15 and Holmes closes half out on 22-8 run. Dogs extended their lead to 25 in second half then a bad 4th qtr allowed St Henry to close to within 12. Englemon and Chames get two late buckets and SH gets uncontested basket at end to give you final.

No problem. Thanks really needs to go to Holmes' stat guy. Every game I've covered he has been awesome with providing stats and giving me a printout.

Indeed. He plays with a lot of confidence and took it to Englemon and Chames. Also showed a nice mid range jumper.

Best struggled tonight at both ends but had a tough assignment trying to check Bolden.

Bolden could take his man to the hole anytime he wanted. The best player I've seen so far this year.

Best was checking Coston most of the night, not Bolden. Rechtin started the night on him, then Hils guarded him.

Surprised St.H only had 19 turnovers. The full court press didn't hurt them as much as just stupid passes in the half court set.

So smooth! Very happy for James and all his success. He is a great kid.

All ye of little faith:

Cru loses by:

Q--20 pts

Baseball Nut--20 plus

Tiger 1--26 pts

Clyde--30 plus (that one still hurts)

TAC--18 (Thanks for believing!)

Cru minimized the hemmoraging to 14 points. Baby steps! Keep working hard, Crusaders!

Hoops, I've seen both play. Holmes is a much better team. The Cru has played a tough schedule and have taken some tough losses. They are better than their record and will leave somebody scratching their heads when the Cru upsets them at the end of the season.

Holmes is a much better team.

Totally agree. I knew it would be a loss.

My "Thanks for believing" comment to you was not at all out of sarcasm. I was happy that you gave the Cru the lowest spread !

If it appears that I'm trying to take away from the strength of Holmes, I am not at all. They are GOOD! I am a fan! I hope Holmes continues to have a great season.

It's no fun being 0-6. You look for any signs of hope and get excited about the little things.

Holmes is fun to watch. They play smart, and they play fast. They play as a team so tough to guard. Great outside shooting.

We are good Hoops! I've seen most of the top 10 teams play already and Holmes is now my #1. I think the Cru will be in good shape if they can overcome the early season struggles and frustrations. I did not think you showed any disrespect to Holmes, nor do I think any one disrespected the Cru in their game predictions (well maybe Clyde). At this time of the year Holmes is 14 points better. I'm guessing if they meet again my spread will be a little tighter.

Good luck to both squads, fun to watch those fine athletes play.
