I agree. Too many untested teams so far. I really think there is a ton of parody this year. Someone may sneak out from the pack eventually and injuries will play a part, but I think there are a lot of teams you can interchange right now. Boone is low on most of these and I don't know the details of the Boone/Ursaline game, but I can tell you Ursaline is a very strong team. At least when HHS played them! And no, this isn't a "they beat HHS" statement, "so they must be good". I feel pretty confident in my ability to judge teams and on the night I saw Ursaline, they were very strong. They lit it up from the outside against us. Maybe that was the difference or maybe Boone just matched up against them well. Also, we didn't shoot very well either. But I was very impressed with them and am impressed with the way Boone shut them down. That's a solid win.

 

I'm not sure I'd put HHS that high yet. Maybe just becasue I see them every night and get to nit pick some of the things I'd like to see them get better on. They have been shooting better! For me, they need to polish some things up before I would put them that high. But then again, I honestly think that any 8-9 of those teams could end up in the top 3 by the end of the year.

 

I'm not even going to attempt a top 10. (I don't want it in writing yet!) I would agree with ND right now until someone gets them and with their big win over Assumption.

 

For little schools, you have to like what Calvary and Villa are doing. Plus, I have some ties to some of the girls on those teams!

This is pretty solid. I like Conner over Brossart at 5 and Holy Cross should probably be below Walton and Boone.

Well I would add Brossart to your list too...maybe I should have said "tiny" schools then. Just a shout out to them, not trying to hurt anyone's feelings!

Villa - 176 students

Calvary - 111 students.

 

The closest one on your list and including Brossart is DOUBLE the enrollment of Villa! They are SMALL schools.

Game was at Holy Cross and it wasn't that decisive.

Well then with that logic Boone should be ranked over Holy Cross.

And of all of those WV is the only one required to take any of their students. So in my mind that makes them in a completely different category. ( now that should get some dialogue going). And I did forget brossart. Mea Culpa
