Trinity returning backs for 2006

I forgot about Donovan's return. He was very unhappy at Jeff, chose to come back. That's his choice. He wishes he had never left Rock Heaven. He will help. Tim Phillips is not related to Vince. Hopefully pro $$$ won't lure Bobby Petrino away this season. Still four NFL jobs open. Difficult for Nick to walk in and start at another high school as a Senior.

Donovan and Neagle will be two good junior RB's next year. They will definitely have an experience line to run behind.

Could it be his mom didn't like the direction he was headed at Jeff? Could it be that his family decided that football isn't more important than grades and behavior?

 

Could it be that everyone is blowing this out of proportion, to suit their own agendas?

For anyone who cares, I received an e-mailed from a high ranking official at Trinity. The below quote came from the e-mail when he addressed the mentioned student.

 

"…this was a family-generated transfer. The student is not eligible for any interscholastic sports for one year per the current rules. He won’t be practicing or playing football for Trinity during 2006.”

Thanks Bert. This should silence a few people. I'm sure it is hard for a young man to give up his eligible for a short period, but the experience at THS will be worth it.

As a Sophomore on a SR ladden team at his position, he probably wouldn't have played that much if any. So, no that is not a reason.

It would seem that perphaps you don't know as much as you thought. This is an example of why NO ONE should presume to know why individual families make the decisions that they do.

Why is there any need to spin the story on a kid that won't be playing. Let's face it, any time a family decides that a private school is the best choice for them, some people try to turn it into something wrong. They never offer specifics. They never offer anything except an assertion about what they "know". They never offer to give what they "know" to anyone in authority. Perphaps they have been spun so much they are dizzy and don't know what they know.
