SKINPIG Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 This is a big District/Region match-up. Who comes out with the win?
ukbellco14 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 If North plays the way they are capable then I say North by 5-10. However.... Clay has been playing well lately and North didnt perform as well against a weak M'boro squad as I thought they would. This is gonna be a great game either way! Where is this game played at??? That could play a big role in who wins! And I dont mean that as a knock on either team, or that home cooking will play a factor..... I simply mean that the home team will have the obvious advantage in a close district/regional matchup like this one. Go Jags! :thumb:
MountainThunder Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 Game is at Clay County, ... a boys and girls doubleheader. The Clay girls should win HUGE as the Jags are very young and Clay is very good. The North boys can pull out the win, but at Clay, they better bring their A game cause you know that Clay will be fired up for this one! The boys game should be a great one, and I will pick NL by 1. Carson will hit 2 FT's at the end and the Clay desperation shot will catch backboard and rim, but be just off target. I am psychotic, ... er I mean psychic!

North better be ready to play! Still think they can pull it out, but it will be by less then 5 as I originally thought.
4chs Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 If Clay can handle North Laurel's pressing and traps without too many tounovers they will win, otherwise North will.
ukbellco14 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 If Clay can handle North Laurel's pressing and traps without too many tounovers they will win, otherwise North will. Do you think Clay can do this.... or at least that they are capable of doing this?
51513 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 I agree with 4chs if Clay can handle the pressure they will pull out the win. I think they can do this if there guards bring their A game. Should be a great game. Tigers-63 Jaguars-58
BiggestFan44 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 I think that Clay may have a slight advantage because this game is going to be on their home floor. Clay-60 North Laurel-56
123456 Posted January 19, 2006 Posted January 19, 2006 im going to go out on a limb and say Clay 67 North58 but I have been wrong before..
AUGUSTUS MCRAE Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 im going to go out on a limb and say Clay 67 North58 but I have been wrong before.. Never!!!!!!!!!!
ukbellco14 Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 North Laurel 68 Clay County 58 WOW... a 10 point win at Clay!!! I sure hope so.... but I doubt it. The home court advantage will keep the game to at least single digits I would think. Unless Clay just plays terrible and North is hot.

Neither team can be happy with their last performance (even though they both won), and will be looking to step it up a notch. I am with you, the winner will probably be by single digits unless one of them plays really poorly.
Sports Maniac Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 I think that Clay may have a slight advantage because this game is going to be on their home floor. Clay-60 North Laurel-56 I would have to agree with you. It is extremely hard to beat Clay at Clay.
