You think that was dirty/hard foul?

 

Definitely wouldn't call it hard.

 

Dirty, probably not since I've had the luxury of watching it on replay several times. But if I was Rondo, in the middle of the game, I would have probably thought it was dirty. Humphries doesn't go for the ball and appears to hit Garnett across the face.

Say what you want but Rondo has some serious cohunes, not scared of anything. Few of you have called Rondo a punk, but I'm not sure what you would call Kris Kardashian. Dudes got a 3X size advantage and Rondo was just putting the fear of God in him.

Rondo is becoming unlikeable.

This all ended up in the "stands" on that end zone area which I think I heard on ESPN is a major concern for the NBA. One of these days when a skirmish ends up in the stands again, a fan is going to get hurt bad or a player is going to get a haymaker that just might shorten or end a career.

The more video I see of it the more I feel like Humphries touched KG with his finger with no ill intent at all and KG went down worse than Ryan Kelly after taking a jumper.(Yes, Ryan Kelly flops. I see it clearly). Rondo thought he saw hard foul and it appeared like a hard foul but it wasn't. Humphries ran from Rondo. I see him running and I keep thinking of the Asian store owner in Menace II Society who kept saying, "I don't want any trouble!!!!! I don't want any trouble!!! Just get out!!!"

 

And Rondo scratched him. Scratched him.....really Rondo....really? Hit him with your purse next time....smh...

In his defense he did scratch him while trying to get his arms around his neck so if trying to choke a man twice your size is girly then I'm sure there's a lot of girly men on BGP's.

 

 

 

But as for KG, I guess you can say he instigated the whole thing by making it look like he got wiped out. Definitely a situation where it looked a lot worst than it actually was. With the benefit of multiple camera angles and slow motion we get the whole story, in the heat of a game though it is a different story. Rondo reacted to what he felt was someone coming after his teammate with a hard foul and he immediately went to stand up for his teammate.

 

A quote I heard earlier from a Washington beat writer says it best, he said something along the lines of..... "Tell me how many guys in the league are going to jump in and fight for their teammate and not be selfish and worry about achieving a personal milestone?" He ended the statement with a, "thats why I love Rondo!" I would have to agree.

 

 

Also seems to me like the only ones who are hating on Rondo for this are Lakers fans, imagine that. :lol:

Another thing from the situation. I'm not sure what's worst, Humphries being backed down by Rondo, or the fact he took to twitter to cry about being punked out by Rondo. I saw on hoopshype earlier that Humphries tweeted last night, "anyone know of a good place to get a tetnus shot in Boston?"

I defended Rondo. Just because I am making fun of his girly voice, his style of fashion and his effeminately long nails doesn't mean I am hating on him. I like the chick.

I like how he treated Ray Allen. Other than that I have been a huge KG hater since he got to Boston.
