These two tip off Tuesday night in Grant County.

 

Garrard County is ranked #7 in the 12th Region. Grant County is in the 8th Region and their preview with their ranking has yet to be released. Grant looks to improve off of last year's success and should be a good test for Garrard to begin the season with their new coach.

 

To stick with my 12th Region bias I'll take Garrard County by 1 on the road. Austin Sebastian shines in this one.

Sat with mcpapa last year & watched Grant County. Undersized, but very scrappy and physical. I'll take Grant in a close one at home.

I can't give any prediction because I don't know much about Grant County. I will say that opening up on the road, in a foreign region, after a long bus ride could make for a difficult night. Garrard went to Bath County and won the opener last season, though, so hopefully they can pull one out Tuesday night.

Grant County by 15! Garrard will not be ready for Grant's style of play. This is a tough matchup right out of the shoot. 65-50 Grant on top.

Grant has looked pretty good in both scrimmages vs Collins and Harrison Co. They are undersized but Garrard Co. is not a matchup problem. The size is very compariable. Garrard was not very impressive vs Nelson Co. Friday night. It will be a good matchup between Austin Sebastian and Tyler Carr. Braves by 15+ .

I have a hard time seeing Grant County winning by double digits let alone 15+.

I haven't seen either yet so I'll take your word for it. Is Grant underrated in the preview?

Grant County by 10. Grant will pressure, be physical and foul a lot. This will take its toll on Garrard. Garrard County will score from the free throw line if they can hit their shots but I don't think it will be enough to win the game.
