LCPATS Posted January 14, 2006 Posted January 14, 2006 As of right now, I am going with Lincoln County. They are very young and exciting. They play well together and play very hard. I am interested to see what the Pulaski County schools have to offer. Lincoln is dominating around this area.
The Sportster Posted January 20, 2006 Posted January 20, 2006 Im going with P.C. Fraley has got his machine rolling
Mastermind Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Region is held in Dave's barn over at PC.....so if he gets there you may see him work his magic and make a run to Rupp. Overall, they should give another region an at large bid to the Sweet 16 and not have a 12th representative this season.....I say that tongue in cheek.
thegeneral Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Overall, they should give another region an at large bid to the Sweet 16 and not have a 12th representative this season.....I say that tongue in cheek. There's been a lot of times you could say that about the 12th in the last 15 years or so. It's not the worst region in the state at the top, but there aren't more than 2 or 3 below it. The regional tourney, however, will be great fun because just about anybody that can get to the regional will have a shot to win it.

You just said that Lincoln was dominating around this area but if I'm not mistaken they did lose to east by double digits.... Is that right.... I think so and East has a young team as well.
thegeneral Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 Lincoln's losses within the 12th are to EJ, Pulaski and Boyle, which held Lincoln to 35 tonight.
hector Posted January 21, 2006 Posted January 21, 2006 My 12th region rankings are: 1 tie: Somerset, PC, Southwestern, Lincoln, Boyle, Rockcastle, Danville, East J, west J 9 tie: Caesy,McCreary, Mercer, Harrodsburg, Wayne This region is WIDE open and on any given night anyone can beat anyone.

garrardgnat Posted January 23, 2006 Posted January 23, 2006 Seems we don't have a clearcut favorite in the 12th and our team's (especially Garrard) just aren't very good this season. However, we should have some terrific post-season games at both the district and regional levels. Put the eight teams that make it to the region in a hat, shake'em up good and pour them out in order to pick your winner. I have a gut feeling that Boyle just might win it with Stead making the difference for them in the big games, but I like East as well. I'd make West my third choice. Think the Jessamine teams are happy to be in the 12th instead of the 13th?? Good luck to all teams. Play hard and enjoy the sport!
AverageJoesGym Posted January 24, 2006 Posted January 24, 2006 Actually, the Jessamine teams were in the 11th with the Lexington schools. I can't see any scenario that they would be in the 13th.
