October 8, 201214 yr The record of the six teams UK has played is 29-2. The 2 losses are Alabama and UK. UK is still bad, but that is a pretty crazy stat. There are 4 undefeated teams in the SEC, and UK has played them all except Bama. The record of UK's remaining opponents is currently 20-14.

The only team that UK has played in that range is WKU and would have won that if not for a poor start by Smith. If UK has enough healthy players this weeks game should be a good indication of how "bad" they really are.

October 8, 201214 yr Arkansas will dominate the Cats on both sides of the ball...Cats will be lucky to stay within 4 td's.... Is it the 58-10 loss to A&M or the loss to Rutgers or UL-Monroe that led you to that well thought out conclusion.

You don't think UK's losses were to teams that are on a roll? Other than WKU's loss to Alabama the teams that have beaten UK have not lost a game. Right now, UK strength of schedule #2, Arkansas #3.

Right now, UK strength of schedule #2, Arkansas #3. And I admire your posts to "keep up the positive", but we watch this team and it's just bad with bad coaching. I'm somewhat of a fan as well but when you constantly hear the jokes about the football program on ESPN, FoxSports, College Football Playbook, etc., it gets embarrassing. In the first half of the MS game, I was of the opinion the team was tanking. It's not even competitive at times. They just don't have any depth because the recruiting has been lacking. It's just a bad program right now in definite need of some changes. UK needs to take a gamble on a coach, if one is available and is willing to come to Lexington, like they did with Calipari.
