I had to starting around 13. My Mom worked a ton of hours I learned laundry and my brother learned to cool. I've since learned how to cook, my brother goes to the Toots school of Laundry.

But I try to teach my children to be completely independent.

On the bright side I found $1.35 in change cleaning up the water around the washer/dryer.
