Sorry to say, but if Morris is out I think South Oldham wins. At this point Cooper can only hope Morris can play by the time the playoff's start.

I do not think that Cooper is going to be able to handle South Oldham. They are a little banged up, and if Morris, who is a big part of their team, is out, they are in a world of hurt in my opinion. I hope his knee injury is not serioius, and he makes it back in a week or so. I heard from a Cooper parent that his MRI was being performed last night. South Oldham has a stud at QB, and many playmakers on their offense, With the injuries that Cooper has, both major, and minor, I don't think they will be able to hang Friday night. But that is to be seen, you never know what is going to happen under the lights.

I read in the newspaper Morris is out this Friday.

Cooper 37-32.

AJ Collins will rush for 200+ yards.

I agree, and with SO's offense I would run AJ as much as he can handle and eat the clock. They can mix in Ricky Martin who runs hard for a smaller player but is quick.

This is the article from Cincinnati.com

According to Cooper coach Randy Borchers, standout senior quarterback/safety Tyler Morris will undergo an MRI today on the knee he injured in Friday’s 38-21 loss to Conner. Borchers said doctors ruled out a torn ACL, but that Morris likely won’t play in Friday’s game at South Oldham.

If the kid plays Friday he is one tough kid.

I obviously don't know the extent of the injury. But is the difference between a two seed and three seed worth risking the rest of the season by playing? The kid is definitely one of the toughest in nky and no doubt wants to play. But I'd hate to see him come back too soon.

I'm not sure where he went to therapy, but a good physical therapist would be able to get him back to probably 80% in a week. Assuming that the original injury was not as serious as initially thought.

This poll must have a NKy bias! Considering Soulh Oldham beat Conner, and Conner beat Cooper it seems a bit skewed to have Cooper favored 3:1!

#1 Morris WILL play so don't believe everything you read in the paper, #2, and the more important question, is how will the Jags respond to their first dealings with adversity. This is still a team to be reckoned with not only in this district but in 5A as a whole. The loss last week to Conner might just be the best thing that could have happend to Cooper as it probably allowed them to "Check their selves" and get re-focused. SO is a solid team and who beat who previously means absolutely nothing as history will tell ya. One good thing about the SO game is it will be on turf which the Jags love to play on and had their biggest output on this season.
