Franklin County 35 East Jessamine 22

Worst field conditions I've ever seen. Plain rain didn't do that, but I heard the HC wants a new field so go ahead and destroy it. Really no way to pass in this one, so the Flyers gave it to # 21 Chris Roberts and got it done. Big 1st down catch by #18 Brandon Smith for a 1st down swung the momentum. Timmons with a good game considering the conditions. QB Woodside with a big TD run late to seal the win. Flyers up all night but it was ugly. Back to work guys.

Place was a mess, officiating very poor, East Jessamine played hard, Franklin County gave up some points with some special teams, I think a fake punt, and a few kick offs took back for a td, or close at least, I was getting some nachos, with chili and jalapeno peppers! FCHS with the ugly win improves to 7-0!

There is no field annually worse than East Jessamine. Obviously the weather hurt it, but about this time every season when you watch the highlights, East's games are played in a mud pit. It may not be a great field, but one thinks they would take a little more pride in their home stadium and work to make it the best they can.

Man it was a mess, tough track and both teams had trouble with it, I think it may have looked different on the scoreboard though with a dry track. The flyers had 2-3 touchdowns called back in this game.

You are right there. But you might want to not turn on the sprinkler system with the rain either. :sssh:

I haven't been to EJ since 2003.

Do they still have the visitor stands that are 30 yards from the sideline?

Do they still have the PA guy who talks to people in the stands?

Yes Clyde. The clock operator is horrible too.
