33rd District

Didn't mean to infer that Barker doesn't play with confidence. He certainly does. If you consider that he now has a year of varsity basketball under his belt and you throw in his football success I am expecting a big season from him. Just noting that Mays seemed to have a little more bounce in his step over the summer than he has in past years.

I was talking about Drew Mays.

Gotcha. Mays has always played hard, just noting that it looks like the "senior light bulb" has come on and he realizes that this is his team this year.

Cooper should be the favorite.

Boone is a year or two away from being back near the top of the district and region.

Cooper might be the favorite, but don't count out Conner. I think they will surprise a few people!

Not sure I would say player of the year for two reasons; one, my guess he will be double team the entire year and secondly not sure the top brass will let him play his game: that is Drew Mays

Cooper should be the favorite.

I think you're being generous.

Cooper should win the 33rd hands down. Conner's Front Court will be solid but again, who is going to run the point? Cooper having 6'6" Drew Shelton and 6'8" Maniacci and the additon of McNeil who will go for more than 20 at any given nite gets my vote for this district and a legitimate shot at challenging any team for the region to get to Rupp.
