Trinity 83 Warren Central 77 (3OT)

Featured Replies

Trinity was up by 18 at half and 22 early in the third. WC came roaring back took the lead with about two minutes left. Trinity then led and WC hit a three to send the game into OT. Every boy in uniform looked completely spent. Trinity finally wins an OT game.

Central actually trailed by 25 points (37-12) midway through the third, but it was an unbelievable game, and all players from both teams left it on the floor. Would've rather had the win, but it was a great game to watch. My voice hurts from yelling so much...

Wow. I had a funny feeling Trinity might pull the upset, but not in this fashion!

Any stats for the game?

Great job T :ylsuper: :ylsuper: :ylsuper:

I for one believe Trinity deserve this victory. I bet anyone would be hard pressed to find a better sub .500 basketball team. I know they have eight losses but lets look at that list: Male, Covington Holmes, Shelby (2x), Owensboro Catholic, Manual, Moore, Pine Christian Florida. Looking at that list and knowing they lost these games by a total of 37 points, including the 13 point loss to Catholic. Take away that game and no other team has beaten them by more than six points. At the same time I think that shows just how scrappy, well coached and determined the Dragons from Warren Central are. A 29-4 run !!! There aren't many teams that could do that versus the Shamrocks.
