The year that Foster broke out he was taking very late in probably everyone's draft. He wasn't even listed at the Number 1 RB on Houston's depth chart. He got his change because Tate went out for the year. If someone already had Rodgers, then took a flier on Foster, they would then have two solid keepers.

Just know I've peaked in on it other years and it's comical at times.

The American Conf has held its own against the National. Besides, the same players are available to y'all that are available to us.

This National Confrence is the most competitive league I've ever been in over 13 years of FF. American gets guys over the years that haven't played much so you have great fantasy players fall in the draft for worse players etc. that lets people in that league load up teams. National Confrence more than any league I've seen is a draft that you better go after who you want because it's likely players will never fall to you. In the end not a big deal. I was just stirring the pot because that's part of the fun of FF.

Big boy conference, whatever. Large, general assumptions on "newbies" is also a joke, the "Big Boy Conference" was the ones for the most part robbing the newer owners with the bogus pick trades that I still contend are bull, but hey, like you said, its all in fun, so it will be fun when I get this ship righted.
