Thanks for all your updates. :thumb: Looks like the 10th region is more open than first believed...me included.

Congrats to the Royals. :thumb:

Man this was a hard fought game...Both teams played hard...

The young Royals came of age tonight great, great game. A memorable high school game. Middleton and Miller truly came of age tonight. Tyreese is small but energy galore. Micah, Brad, Stahl and the rest GREAT JOB!! I thought this just might be the kind of effort the Royals would come with when they relax and just have fun. Credit to PC for gutsy performance.

Go Royals!!!

What a game; Pendleton's seniors outlasted Mason's sophomores. Darius Miller fouled out on a phantom call with less than a minute left in regulation; but this one couldn't be blamed on the officials as Mason had their chances to win. Up 66-61 and 68-63 with less than a minute left in the first OT. Freshman guard Middleton had 24, sophomore Miller 22, Mikah Turner had 19 points and 12 boards; Pendleton had nice games from Elliott, Davis and a spectacular first half from Mains. Pendleton was able to take advantage when Miller was out, in the first half with foul trouble and then in OT; that was the difference in the game IMHO.

Wow, what a game. I caught it on the internet. Sounded like it couldve went either way. Congrats to PC on the win. The Royals showed alot of heart coming back from 14 down in the first half. Keep your heads up Royals you played a great game. These 2 teams could meet two more times this year. Hopefully I will be able to make it to the next meeting on senior night.

Congrats to PC on the hard fought win.Great job young Royals you really growed up some tonight here by coming back from 14 down and had a chance to win at the end of regulation and end of OT.Pc showed there championship poise and managed to pull this one out though.Mason was led tonight by Freshman Russ Middelton and Sophmore Darius Miller,But it was Middelton who carried them in the OTS when Miller fouled out.Terry Davis hit some HUGH 3s though and i thought Brad Pawsat done a wonderful job on Elrod. These 2 will meet on Masons Senior nite and maybe hopefully again in the regional. But yes this region is wide open and anybody who thinks differnt will be mistaken.Great game again by both teams just back and forth.Next up for the Royals at the Fieldhouse next Friday nite Scott County :scared: .

I'm a Wild cats fan at heart ,but it sure sounds like Mason Co. is on the doorstep of the glory days of their old programs. Good job Cays and Royals!!!!

Go Cats!!!

Yeah you can say that it was a great game and Mason has some great years coming as they only have 1 senior in Micah Turner on this team mostly sophs. And the freshman class lost there 1st game today since 6th grade there now 74-1 as they went 2-1 today in LexCath tourny but they play without Russ Middelton as he starts varisty as a Freshman.. :thumb:

Just got back from the Fieldhouse. It was a great game and an exhausting one. Really happy to see Terry Davis hit the big shot. The Pendleton kids really gutted this one out...great job! Good crowd from Pendleton tonight as well making it more of a neutral court, near as many or as many PC people there as Mason.

Congrats to Mason Co. as well on a supreme effort, it will be interesting to see if these two meet again on a Saturday night with a trip to Rupp on the line.

This was a hard fought game from start to finish, and fun to watch. IMO, there was no loser.

:thumb: Something tells me they may meet again in March.

One of the best HS games that I've ever witnessed! A hard fought battle between both teams. Sharp is right when he said that there was no loser. Congrats goes to both teams.

There were numerous big shots in the game from both teams. Darius Miller and Russ Middleton seemed unstopable at times. I thought a big key in the game was during the first OT when Middleton got fouled and he started to get leg cramps. We was unable to shoot the ft's, so they put #11 in to shoot them. He ended up missing both, but that was very tough to do in a crucial part of the game.

Pendleton's Tyler Mains was on fire in the first half. He led the Cats to a big lead in the first half. Terry Davis was huge in the overtime's hitting big 3 after big 3. The other three starters (Belcher, Elrod, and Elliott) also scored in double figures.

It was kind of suprising that in a double overtime game that only one player fouled out (Miller).

Congrats to Pendleton County on winning their first ever MCIT! Also congrats on extending their 22 game win streak over 10th region opponents.
