The kid suffered fairly serious injuries to his MCL and ACL. MRI today. Might miss the season.

Some talk going around that it may not be ACL and he might miss only 8 weeks.

I read MCL and patellar tendon, dislocated knee cap. No ACL. Also heard may take advantage of the new CBA 8wk IR.

This is the most optimistic bad knee injury ive ever head of.

Now a "source" says that the diagnosis of patellar tendon, knee cap and MCL are correct. 3-5 months to heal. My guess is that he's staring at IR. I can't imagine holding a roster spot for him for nearly the whole season, with the opportunity to play at the end. Just my guess.

Agreed. Not having an ACL tear is nice. All of that other stuff sounds bad though.
