Just got back from this game. Glad I went to this one. Lee looked good and played good basketball and was in it the whole way, leading by a few in the first half. Perry shot a LOT more freethrows than Lee, and from where I was sitting (about 20 rows up by Perry's bench) it sure looked like Tyler Rich got beat to death. A pretty fair called game other than it seemed like Perry got away with a little rougher play down low the Bobcats did. But, the Comodores put it away in the final seconds with some crucial free throws.

 

I do feel like Lee showed that they are a good team tonight and, I think, will be a force in March. Many predicted a blowout, but Lee had a chance to tie it with 9 seconds to go, but made a mistake. They also hit only 2 of their 3 point attempts, I dont know how many that they shot, but they missed a terrible amount of shots. Good game all around and good win here for Perry County Central.

I posted on this earlier, but, Alas, its gone. The score was 59-54. Ronnie, your'e right about the game being good and LC missed a lot of layups. I think anyone who doubts Lee should come and watch them play a game. Good win PC. Would've liked a Lee win here but, they played nice and just made too many mistakes. The twins had a bad night as well and that played into it I think.

Glad to see Lee doing so well this year. I was at the Blue-White pre-season scrimmage. Best of Luck to the Bobcats the rest of the season.

This could be a sneak peak of what is to come in the 14th region Tourney.

Lee played a poor game missed too many easy shots and was cold from beyond the arc(2 for 13) most of them open looks. Also Lee shot 24 for 60 overall. This is the worst shooting night Lee has had all season. PCC had amis hiiting early and overall I thoughtt Pcc played pretty well. I am curious what the home record is of PCC the last 5 years. I am not crying, Lee lost this game on thier own. Same ole story PCC shot 21 free throws to Lee shooting only 6. The physical play was allowed on PCC defensive end. But called very close on thier offensive end. I guess that is what everyone in the region refers to as home court advantadge. I hope we see PCC again in the regional tournament. Lee must first get through the district to have a chance for vindacation.

Nothing against PCC, but I was wanting to look on here and see a win for Lee tonight. Sounded like a good game anyway. I like to see the smaller school do well.

I listened to this game on the radio and it was a dandy. Lee was leading in the first half and then Amis hit three straight treys for Perry that gave them a 24-20 lead at halftime.

In the final seconds Lee intercepted the ball trailing by 57-54, but one of the Bobcat players called a timeout, and Lee didn't have any left. That resulted in a technical foul, two free throws for Perry plus the ball back.

Lee put up a good fight. Perry has not lost many games on their home floor in recent years. I believe Brial Milam said last night that they were something like 40-something and 4 in the last 3 years. The Bobcats had their chances. Maybe the next time in it will be different if the two meet in the regional tournament..

are lee and june buchanan on the same side of bracket in all A,that would be a good game

June Buchanan plays at Owsley County on Jan 25th.

 

The winner of that game will play the winner of the Jan 23rd Lee County at Jackson City game (assuming that the winner can get past Jenkins in the 2nd round, which I'm pretty sure either will). All these games are in the top bracket.

 

 

 

The bottom bracket will more than likely come down to either Hazard or Buckhorn making it to the final game on Jan 28th at the Sherman Neace Center (MC Napier's gym before consolidation.)

It would be nice to see Owsley and Lee battle after Smith gets back into things.

That would be a good game. If they don't hook up in the all a, they may not meet again this year. Looks like Lee will probably be the 1 seed with the way I see it, Powell will probably be the 4. Looks like my Engineers and the Owls as of now in the district.

I will have to say from my 3rd row seat i thought that Lee played the worst ball they had played since the first half of the Letcher Central Game. They couldn't get hardly any shots to fall in the first 3 quaters. I thought that played a little like they were scared of PCC, they are gonna have to get over that if they want to win the region, which I KNOW they can. Lee is a good good team they just didn't play like it last night.
