July 19, 201214 yr I made it home to NKy from Myrtle Beach in 9.5hrs taking the Cumberland Gap Pkwy detour..Do what you want but that is pretty good time if you ask me..lol So what are the routes you take going that way?

July 19, 201214 yr What is 25E/Cumberland Pkwy like? Four lane? Two lane? How many towns and stoplights? Mapquest has it as 13 miles shorter on 25E.
July 19, 201214 yr 25E is all 4-lane. Not many stop lights outside of Corbin. That looks like a solid alternative to me.
