How about Heisman winning QB Spurrier playing for Kentucky.

I am not sure Spurrier and UK is a good example. Spurrier has thrown countless shots at UK because they suck. I think for purposes of this thread there has to be some relevance in the form of a rivalry or good teams involved.

I like the Cam at Alabama.

 

I think Hayes or Shembechler at UM or tOSU, respectively is a good one.

FWIW when I started this thread it was in reference to the NCAA 2013 video game commercials showing Heisman winners playing for rival teams. Seems as if it has went off the rails somewhat.

 

To reset it, What former Heisman winner being seen in another jersey on a video game would be the worst for either fan base? The commercial showing Desmond Howard playing for Ohio St is great...so is the one for RGIII playing for LSU...but what would be the best commercial they could make? 66 winner Steve Spurrier doing a tom-a-hawk chop for the Noles? Hershel Walker running through the T at Neyland?

Deion Sanders, Derrick Brooks, Charlie Ward playing for Miami.

 

 

Michael Irvin, Ray Lewis, Willis McGahee playing for Florida State.

 

Randall Cobb at Tennessee.

 

Tim Couch, Craig Yeast, Patrick Towles at UL.

That commercial is hilarious. Old school team loyal parent values against new school child 'I like the player not the team' values.

As I mentioned earlier...Cam Newton as the Bama QB in a commercial....well they wouldn't have to worry about shipping enough games to Alabama...that would tick off both fan bases...:lol:
