Last night really made me appreciate what Josh Hamilton was able to do a few years ago. Also made me wish that Cincy could land the All-Star game, balls would be flying out like crazy.

Lastly, I loved how the KC crowd was giving it to Cano for not picking the hometown guy for his squad.

Cano was shook. I hope he gets booed unmercifully at every away game from now on. He needs to toughen up.

It'd be awesome to be at the HR Derby. I'd go to that for sure.

Cincy front office guys seems to think they will be getting an AS game pretty soon. 2015-2017 range.

My roommate said he heard some buzz about them making a big push for 2015. Not sure where he got that from, but I'd assume Lance's blog.

If the convention center wasn't booked, then they probably would be hosting next year instead of the Mets. Their front office is pushing hard for 2015, and they're working with the city and convention center to ensure there aren't any hiccups that would cause MLB to go elsewhere again.

That's great news! I feel like the city of Cincinnati is really doing a good job and moving in the right direction to host these types of events. After the Brothers of the Sun Tour in PBS and the World Choir Competitions, I feel like Cincinnati is making a pretty good name for itself with bigger and more elaborate events.

Is it just me or did it seem like him and George Brett don't get along to well? Their exchanges seemed pretty awkward.

Maybe Berman didn't like being corrected on his geography when he said one of Fielder's home runs was headed to Omaha, and George said "that's the wrong way".
