Never lost power once, when Debby blew by here. Two days later, on a beautiful sunny day, the power was out for 4 hours. That seems to be more the norm than the exception anymore. In fact, I don't remember if I have ever used my generator on a day where it was raining or evening threatening to rain.

Once again, storm rolls through and out goes our power.

Duke really is useless, nine and a half hours to restore it. Pathetic.

Time to make the transition to underground lines only.

Agree!

Oddly enough, the power stayed on last night. Now I probably just jinxed myself.

You were saying?

Never brag about your post count or your power supply -- you'll either get it from God, a mod...or both!

Don't want to jinx myself but we've only lost power a handful of times in over 27 years in FT. I'm going to say less than 10 times and only twice for more than 5 hours.

Our power never went out for any length of time really...until Duke Energy took over. It's been out 4 or 5 times in just the last month. A total of 18 hours for three of those days. Nine and half last night, two and a half hours three weeks ago and six ours the night before the two hour outage.

Gotta spare room 75center?

Wow! You sure must live in a different part of Ft. Thomas than RTS and me! Ours goes out on a regular basis. More than once, it's been out for several days.
