Lexington (Ky.) Bryant Station guard Jaylen Beckham tweeted that he committed to Samford.

Good. He's too good to not be playing somewhere. I hope he keeps his head on straight and moves and lives in a positive way. Good luck to him.

I get my Beckhams confused. Is this the kid that came out to center court during introductions in Park Hills and signed his autograph on the floor?

If so, I agree with PP92. I hope he finally got his head on straight.

Yes. That is him.

Great athlete and player who got all caught up in the hoopla. Glad he has an offer and can continue his career and get a good education.

Amen. I was starting to get worried about him.

You are being serious?

Congrats to this young man. Always glad to see our Ky kids go on to the next level.
