The

schedule is set for the second annual Bluegrass Classic high school football showcase on Saturday, Aug. 25, at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. The four-game event will feature three schools from Louisville (Central, Ballard and St. Xavier) and five others from outside the state. Tickets will be $10 for all four games.

Here is the schedule:

11 a.m. – Central vs. Evansville (Ind.) Reitz

2 p.m. - Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian vs. Madison (Tenn.) Goodpasture Christian

5 p.m. - Ballard vs. Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Riverdale

8 p.m. - St. Xavier vs. Irmo (S.C.) Dutch Fork

Six of the eight teams are back from last year, with Trinity Christian replacing Paducah Tilghman and Dutch Fork replacing Duncan (S.C.) Byrnes

I don't think there is TV this year. I can tell you Dutch Fork is the "Silver Foxes" and I think they went 10-3 last year. losing a playoof game 28-27. A game promoter told me they run an offense similar to Trinity (which is why X was interested in playing them) but DFwould not be favored vs. X.

I dont know if i can agree with that statement, maybe because i dont understand what you mean by silver foxes. but i have a buddy in South Carolina and he said they're not in the top division but they are very good and highly competitive so it should make for a great game although im taking my tigers.

Should be called Louisville showcase instead of bluegrass.
