Luke will be spending his third straight summer in NY as he will report to Hudson Valley for the Short A season.

 

In an interview I read it sounds like they want his main position to be catcher.

My guess is they know he can catch, they know he can play 1st base but if he can play the OF also, it gives TB a much bigger option with him and that bat of his.

 

With his bat, the more fielding options he gives to TB, the better it will be for him!

If he hits like they expect he'll play anywhere to get him in the lineup.

Clyde, I wouldn't think it would be too hard to get a rather large crowd of people to drive to Bowling Green, Ky if Luke gets sent there next!

 

The next step up the ladder for most Renegades is Tampa's full-season Class A affiliate in Bowling Green, Ky. To make it back to Kentucky, Maile and Williams must learn to adjust to the Empire State, even if only for a few months.
