Wrongly accused ex-football star hoping NFL team gives him a shot

Anyone can sue anyone for anything CWB, I am sure all the cases are so specific it is hard to generalize.

And I agree with your two friends. I think there should be severe penalties for falsely reporting any crime and especially sex crimes.

Good point... Where's Eric "The Bulldog" Deters when you need him?

In search of his license to practice!?

Very sad. He should be paid what she was paid. But as far as an NFL tryouts, many high school stars went to college and flamed out. Easy chief. I understand you want to pick up your life where it ended. But you gotta "crawl, walk, then run." -Sen. Clay Davis

Not sure if you're familiar with Long Beach Poly or not but they have a very good football history with multiple alumni that went pro in football and we're not talking like a dozen or so but more like 60 or 70 over the years. The kid had a full ride to USC during a time that USC was a national title contender every year. I'd say the kid had pretty good shot at an NFL career, however that was 10 years ago. Would be awfully tough now.

As for what that girl did I think she should pay the money back, do time and then have to do community outreach to inform the public of how much wrongly accusing someone can hurt people.
