May 26, 201214 yr I don't recall anyone wondering what you were thinking. I talk to crazy people in the ER every day. I usually know what they're thinking. Why do you think I'm crazy ? Like the show "Dragnet" just the facts . Your a shrink in the ER? My shrink says I'm not crazy. Can I use you for a 2nd opinion ? What happened to the previous post where Johnny Bench was mentioned. :idunno:

May 26, 201214 yr Cueto struggling tonight. I'm sure hoosierbirdfan will want him moved to long relief. . My initial post was meant to say that Bruce should not be batting in the 5 hole because of his slump. (1 for 31) As the crazy comment , not sure if that is a BGP violation, but I have thick skin and I don't get rattled easily. Have a nice evening.

Never called you crazy. Gotta have thick skin on this board. I like you HBF. You keep things interesting. Remind me a lot of our old friend Patrick Star. Looking forward to tomorrow's game, and Bruce busting out of his slump.
May 26, 201214 yr At some point, you guys will have to stop responding to baseball and overall statistical ignorance . Anyway, glad the Reds retain first place. I went to 4 games this past week (my first four of the season), and went 3-1. Not too shabby. I will say, the closer my tickets were to the field, the closer the Reds got to losing, so I'm thinking I'll stick with the $5 tickets.
May 26, 201214 yr Just some thoughts. Arredondo is Zimbabwan for "don't look back at runner". Costanzo has a better shot at being an extra in a mob movie than hitting in the league. He's more likely to be on a hit show than hitting in the show. How much longer are they going to stay with this guy just because he is left handed? Does the team even have have anyone to turn to to help this bench?

Each is entitled to their own opinion. Why did Dusty tell Bruce to stay away from the batting cages yesterday ? I would think that is the place where he needed to be. I guess that's why Dusty gets the big bucks. :idunno:

He's thinking too much up there, pressing. A day away from all of that will probably do him some good.
May 26, 201214 yr Author How much longer are they going to stay with this guy just because he is left handed? Does the team even have have anyone to turn to to help this bench? That's why I hated them keeping Harris over Francisco. Francisco gave you pop off the bench, and at least someone with a chance to come up, and knock one out of the park. Hoover has been excellent though so it's hard to knock the trade. The Reds got a very solid arm in return. The Reds do however need to get a LH bat for the bench. Neither Harris or Costanzo are the answer. I'm sure Walt is trying to find a fix for the problem.
May 26, 201214 yr Bruce should be good to go today. He spent all day yesterday with Domingo's "Hitting for average" video.
May 26, 201214 yr Joey Votto came out of his mini-slump (1-for-9) with a 4-for-4 night with two doubles. He’s on pace for 68 doubles. The Reds record is 51. Frank Robinson (1962) and Pete Rose (1978) share it.

May 26, 201214 yr Author Huge walk by Jay Bruce to set up the Heisey 3 run HR. Reds lead 4-1, but Leake is struggling.
