Another screw up on Greenup's part for hiring him. I'd caution Thomas Nelson about his lack of commitment. I would be willing to bet he gets an apartment.

That's an interesting questions. I'm trying hard to think of someone who is looking to coach a year or two before they move on.

Yes. It is being splintered off of Nelson Co. HS.

I'll have to say, I saw this one coming.

How about Greg Adkins from Elliott Co. Proven winner and was a huge part of the development at Elliott Co. He spent a ton of time with the feeder system I would think with the athletes at Greenup Co. he would be highly successful.

I heard the administration at THNS did not contact GCHS about Youngman before hiring him. GCHS is glad to have rid themselves of a nomadic coach that over-promised and under-delivered.

He took a bunch of kids that underachieved their entire careers and took them to the regional tournament and had them playing fairly well at the end of the year. From a basketball standpoint, I think it's hard to say he couldn't coach. However, the administration at GC surely checked the work history and saw his "nomadic" approach. He has a middle school son who can play varsity sports in our state. I'm not sure what the administration at GC was looking at then. And if you're correct, and the THNS admin never contacted GCHS either, well, that's just poor business in my opinion .

I don't recall anyone else mentioning this when he was hired besides myself. Perhaps my recall isn't what it was.
