Exactly. All I kept thinking the other night was please Bron' or Wade don't get hurt, had that happend I had lighter in hand ready to burn my tickets for tonight.

I think the Pacers roll tonight. They are going to need 2 monster games from Wade and Lebron. Lebron has to get at least 10 rebounds tonight.

Depends on how you like your violence. If Lebron or Kobe was taken out I would expect Indiana Ron and DWade(the two biggest punks in the league) to exact revenge. Which I would like. I like retaliatory fouls. I like hard fouls. I like fouls that send a message. I like to watch a series like the Pacers/Heat series where every foul means something. It's the NBA that I grew up on. All these soft players walking around. SOFFFFFFF......so soffffff they don't deserve the hard 't' sound at the end.

 

To be more clear, I am talking fouls in the flow of the game. That doesn't bother me. Indiana Ron elbowing Harden isn't the type of play I am speaking on.

What kind of cheap shot? Give me an example. I grew up on 80's NBA. I watched MJ get abused by the Pistons but he got back up. Kobe is one of the toughest NBA players in the game right now. It would take a cheap shot of epic proportions to take him out of the game. Kobe's smart enough to not put himself in danger in these intense type situations.

Things like Artest, Haslem, and Pittman. Pittman could have easily hurt Stephenson very badly.

Here's what I'd be VERY worried about if I'm Miami now:

 

Either tonight or Game 7 if the Heat have the game in, someone from the Pacers (maybe even Stephenson) laying out LeBron or Wade with a MAJOR cheapshot. It'd be well deserved IMO thanks to the moron Pittman.

Haslem's was a retaliation foul so in that case Kobe would have to commit a flagrant foul first to have a retaliation foul against him. In the Haslem situation he was protecting DWade.

 

The Indiana Ron elbow is a cheap shot I think everyone would be rightfully mad about. That didn't happen in the flow of the game. His meds just wore off.

 

The Pittman foul was a retaliation foul also and that was a protection foul for Lebron. That didn't bother me either.

 

We also never see flagrants committed against star players that injures them for an extended amount of time. I believe the Lakers could play a physical series against any team without ear of losing Kobe. Would any team really want a reason to get elbows from Ron, forearms from Bynum and Barnes is a lunatic also. If Kobe was a victim of a cheap shot you and I both know that things would get really ugly really quick.

I'd love to see it though. Plus the Pacers are too soft to retaliate anyways. They really seemed concerned about Stephenson after it happened.

How would the Pacers suffer? Stephenson sure, but who cares about him? He'll be lucky to hang around the league as it is.

That's probably a good idea in all honesty. When a guy thanks his psychiatrist before anyone else after winning a championship there should be cause for concern.
