April 25, 201214 yr Did he originally go for both baseball and football? No, knew from the onset that Harvard wasn't going to allow him to play baseball. I would imagine it would be pretty darn tough to play two sports at Harvard and try to keep up with the incredibly tough academic standards, which I assume is Harvard's reason for not allowing it.
