Dusty fixed the lineup, he has Stubbs batting 2nd now. What a joke! All that speed means nothing if you strike out 75 percent of the time.

On the up side, Jay Bruce got a hit, he is now 1 for his last 20 at bats!

You got a better idea? It's not like Dusty has a lot to work with right now.

Frazier....

Why is Dusty intent on having Phillips miss the entire month of May? He keeps running him out there and he's going to go on the DL sooner or later. Just prolonging the inevitable.

They just spent over $400 million in the past year and they dont have a lot to work with?

I meant as far as guys that are playing well currently.

Frazier....

It's not Dusty's decision to put BP on the DL. If he is on the active roster and BP says he can play he will play him. I agree he needs to be on the DL.

Stubbs has a lot more at bats but what does it matter? They strikeout at a similar rate per at bat.

I personally don't feel like Heisey has been given a chance to play everday and get into a rhythm. Don't you think there's some merit to that?

44 I think.

Reds keep up this display of baseball, I can see Dusty gone before the 44th game.

To late now for that, hes been designed as a bench player, that I doubt does well as an every dayer.

Who would they replace him with, one of the coaches on the staff? Rick Sweet - maybe theres a chance he changes things its a small maybe, Eric Davis (already working inside organization), David Bell? Who outside the organization is out there?

David Bell is the obvious choice...

Why? When most of the gusy were in AAA Rick Sweet was their manager (Stubbs, Bruce, Votto, Heisey)

The Reds have moved him up the minor league ranks. He was in AA last year. Why replace Rick Sweet with him at AAA if they weren't trying to see what he was made of?

Didn't Rick ask to be relieved due to a health issue at the time, I thought that was what I remembered.

That's the first I heard of that.

But if it's true why would the Reds put him in a high stress job like a major league manager?
