  1. You've never been in a situation where someone other than a police officer was directing traffic? Again, Scheffler (along with every other player going to Valhalla) had specific instructions/credentials to go into the course. It's not ridiculous to think one person in the mass of people could be misinformed on what the players were allowed to do.
  2. To make it about race, they would have to show proof that someone of equal or greater caliber as Clark didn't get the recognition she has. They can't do that, because it hasn't happened.
  3. It's these takes that infuriate me as a minority. There are PLENTY of opportunities to bring race up, because it's warranted. Caitlin Clark is not one of those and trying to make it that way just makes them look stupid.
  4. Right. A yellow vest doesn't necessarily mean police.
  5. There's apparently some footage from a camera on a light pole somewhere in the vicinity, we'll see if that shows anything of significance.
  6. The video really doesn’t do it justice. I couldn’t believe what it felt and sounded like when the sound finally hit us.
  7. A lot of the haters are ignoring the fact that she was the #1 pick because Indy was horrible. LOL Yes, she makes them better, but she can't do what she does with no help.
  8. I've said this for a while. There's zero chance most of these dudes are thinking about taxes with the NIL money and they are going to be in a world of hurt, especially if they don't go pro.
  9. I just don't see that happening, at all. Just because he's rich doesn't mean he should pay anything if you or I wouldn't be expected to.
  10. Yeah I'd say intent is going to be near impossible to prove in this case. I would not be surprised if this never goes to trial.
  11. But wouldn't they have to prove that he knew it was an officer AND that he intentionally committed a reckless act? Saying he didn't know it was a cop would eliminate that, IMO.
