Just like there were a few players early on that tried to dismiss Tiger Woods ability, most of the tour either supported him or kept quiet. Their reward came over the next 3 to 5 years as weekly tournament purses grew in some cases five times what they were pre-Tiger due to more TV revenue and sponsorship brought on by Tiger. Heck if I was in the WNBA I'd hope that she go for 30 every night just the create a buzz and excitement for the game. I understand playing her tough not wanting her to beat you, but the extra curricular activities away from the ball just don't make $en$e for group of players constantly complaining about lack of pay. I don't think it's as driven by race or sexuality as most do...it's just pure jealousy on the part of the women in the league.

Those Chariots were hard to control I bet! Sidenote: I actually remember that and had attended practice a few days before the race...92 I think. -

UK won game one of NCAA tournament 10-8 after jumping out to an 8-0 lead. Western Michigan scored I believe 5 runs in one inning with only one maybe two balls getting out of the infield. It's wasn't a lot errors on UK's part but just some high chops they beat out, a couple walks, a hit batter or two and you look up and they'd made it a game. UK plays winner of Illinois and Indiana State tomorrow afternoon. -

Maybe I'm all pumped up from the hype and good vibes surrounding the team, but I'm definitely over 20 wins now. -
Kentucky 2024-25 Way Too Early Record Predictions

We know the roster, the SEC schedule and several of the non-conference games. I feel like it's easier to make way too early predictions now. -
Jaxson Robinson pulled his name from NBA yesterday and has committed to the Cats. I believe that leaves 2 possible roster spots available, but even without additional players I think Pope likes where he's at roster wise. >>Correction<< There is one scholarship position left now, not two.

It will be interesting to see which stats are included and if any will change some of baseballs most iconic records. One point of contention I expect to see is that stats accumulated during barnstorming tours will not be included. I don't expect to see Josh Gibson with the new all-time homerun record with 800 HRs as the vast majority were hit in non-league barnstorming games.
