This is a massive understatement!

Heard that the job was offered last night, the coach has till the end of the day to accept.
-
Interviews didn't take place till last week. Of the ones that applied (16 I think) only Oldham and Jaggers were interviewed. Supposedly the job was going to be offered yesterday or today.

Coach Harris always said "Lock the Gate" it was one of his many sayings.

North Oldham DC...? Franklin Ashton Bailey OC for Western Hills this year and Shelby alumn Matt Axline former Oline coach under Coach Shipley and Shelby alumn Josh Smith former Oline coach under Coach Shipley and believe he coached at Frankfort Also heard that former Western Hills head coach and current Bryan Station DC Don Miller has shown interest, don't know if he has applied. Supposedly they have had 10-12 applicants, post closes today, so interviews should start to happen soon.

Job has officially been posted, hearing there has been 8-9 applicants thus far and hope to have hiring committee in place by mid Jan.

From what I have heard is that some of the following applied and interviewed: Ashton Bailey, current coach at Lafayette High School and alumni of Shelby County : Interviewed Brock Roberts, current assistant coach at Collins, former head coach of Eminence High School : Interviewed Matt Axline, current assistant coach and alumni at Shelby County High School : not interviewed Coach from South Oldham : Interviewed Coach from Western Hills : Interviewed Seems like they passed over a lot of good quality coaches with HS experience for someone new.....very questionable hire imo.

Rumors are flying around Shelby that they have their man. Supposedly then entire staff was let go yesterday. Looks like Shelby is cleaning house and looking to start fresh. -
With that win Collins finished 4-0 in 4A district 3. Should face Doss, Moore or Valley whom are in a three way tie for 2, 3, and 4.
-
Western is 1, Doss is 2 (they beat both Valley and Moore), Valley is 3 (they beat Moore heads up) and Moore is 4. Fairdale is out.

Too bad you all were too scared to schedule the Titans! -
He's doing well, a little whip lash and a very mild concussion.
