Cooper has more future Division 1 football players than anyone in Northern Kentucky. Tough team for anyone to beat. Good luck to the Jags in Lexington.

Highlands at Cooper Predictions/Updates

Birds have been playing man coverage against Alexander all night. Tough spot to put your defensive back in. Offense for the Birds was excellent tonight, and o-line was dominant. -
Walton Verona at Bracken County Predictions/Updates

Smith out for the season. #26 their best receiver was the back up. Out for the season as of couple weeks ago. 3rd string quarterback. -

Bearcats playing with 3rd string quarterback today. Not surprising on this one. -
Highlands at Cooper Predictions/Updates

If you can throw you will score on the Birds. -
Zero personal fouls, no punts, overall clean game for the Birds. If they play like they did tonight this can be a special season.

Looks like a very good schedule for Walton. The Bearcats were very thin by years end, and the lack of size and overall team speed was noticeable. Sounds like numbers will bounce back with a large incoming freshman class. Walton has built a very reputable program, it will be interesting to see if they can "take the next step."

Congrats Beechwood. New Cath has a very good football team. They will make a run in Class A. -
Trinity/Beatty = Highlands/Mueller?
Bluerunner replied to DevilMayCare's topic in KY Football (High School)
I believe Mueller would have similar success at Trinity. Would Beatty have similar success at Highlands? -

This is shocking to see after The Birds 7v7 championship at EKU last month. -
Top Running backs to look for 2022
Bluerunner replied to QBone2's topic in KY Football (High School)
Tyson Beach emerged as a sophomore for Walton-Verona this year. The Bearcats normally have a strong ground game, but Beach is their first sophomore to rush for 1,000 yds. Nearly 1,500 yds from scrimmage and 22 tds is a great year for anyone, let alone a sophomore. Kid has a bright future if he continues to progress in speed and strength. -
Sophomore Bluebird class is loaded. A lot of pieces to put together in their most productive spots.

Birds better get healthy quick. 17 guys not dressed tonight.
