And Remember Gabbard was just a sophmore last year, he has put asolid 25 pounds on since last yr of solid muscle. I take Gabbard in this match up, Riley can shoot and his stats prove it but I haven't seen him much off the dribble in the 6 games I've seen this year.

It would be nice to see a thread without Eta's prediction. Seems he hasnt seen boone play much this year. Boone matches up great with Holmes and at the gaurd spot while Jamel may have a better outside shot, he can't shoot with a man in his face and gabbard can. Gabbard and Popp both get to the basket better than jamel and can pull up of the dribble better. The key factor in this game is Elijah Pittman, if he gets his 20 Holmes wins but if he runs his mouth like he did against Dixie Boone wins by 5 Ill take Boone by 3 or 5

Highlands in a very surprising upset by five.

With all things said it was a hard fought game and Dixie deserves credit for fighting hard. Holmes is a great ball Club and Henley has done well with those kids

Rico Didnt score a long three on Pike

Pittman Ran his mouth from the start of the game til Coach Henley sat him in the fourth quarter looked to me like Pike was fine he even stepped in between Raliegh and Pittman were arguing at half court, shows alot of maturity on his part. Pittman got in his face and said something in which Raliegh said something back. Nobody Shoved nobody it was i little bump, if Pittman is gonna dish it out he's gonna get it back. Pike ended up with 3 fouls and so did Raliegh there was no TRIPPING and if elbows were thrown it wasnt like Pittman wasnt throwing full swings at Dixie players :fight:

Rico Backed him down once and did score I do remember that, Pike had 4 or 5 rebounds and does crash the boards. Also Pike wasn't even in the game when Rico dunked so I'm pretty sure I was watching the right game. He had a turn around jumper and a fade away also had a score on the block over top of Rico, Pike was 3 for 4 on the night

Pittman has all the talent in the but is gonna blow it if he doesnt get his head striaght. He has to realize being the stud he is that teams are gonna target him and gonna try to get in his head and its gonna end up costing holmes in a game that will actually mean something. Pike played hard and Pittman didnt score a point on him neither did Ricardo. Pittman talked and Pike didnt back down scored a few times over top of him. Pikes a stud and will continue to develope into a great player. Raleigh started out gaurding pittman and from the start of the game had him rattled, several times Pittman took full swings at him and others on the court. Ricardo and Jamel played extremly well and did what they wanted. It was the most physical game i've seen this year, but its nice to see the young Dixie team show some emotion and not back down from Bulldogs

With coach Kenny C being sick and unable to coach. #23 Pike led the team with 13 and hit the Game Winner! #20 Boese Had 11 hit some big shots Dixie is starting to impress me with how well they play, they really have improved from the start of the season til this point. I havent heard a more mean student section than Conner this year. I was at one blowout game against Newport this year and several of the Cougar fans went to Newport's section and cheered them on for the lack of fans, personally I thought this was hilarious. :banana:
