I was at the game. There were not 8 unearned runs. Lewis got legit hits. I remember a couple of errors but I'd say at least 10 of the 13 were earned. Umpires strike zones seem to be getting smaller. Have to throw it perfect to get one. Both ways, not one-sided.

It seemed to me like it was.

Rams defense was not good tonight 5 errors led to 8unearned runs.They was not ready to tonight.The 16 Region has got to find some better umpires,they are not the reason the Rams lost they can only blame themselves for the lost but the umpires has got to have a clue on what is going on in the game.The last two games the Rams has played the umpires did not do a very good job calling the game.

Congrats to the Lykins kid he did throw a good game if I am not mistaken he only threw about 60 pitches and they did hit the ball well tonight.

Reynolds pitched for Raceland and went the distance I may be wrong but I think he had 3k's and 2bb 1hbp gave up 6 runs. He had the Ashland batters off balance all night at least it seem to me he did. Ashland scored in the 1st and 3rd innings and then scored 4 in the 6th to take the lead 6-5.

Rigsby started and pitched to 10 batters he was off his game tonight. The Johnson boy came in and shut Raceland down for 3innings and then Ashland pitched Adkins and Raceland came back to win the game 8-6.

A very big win for Lewis County.

Rose Hill will win more games this next season than they did this past season.

I agree 100% even without one of their starters transfering to another school than talk about the players and coaches that is there now. They won six games this past season,I believe.

If Gambill leaves Rose Hill they lose their best player. I would guess she lead the team in scoring and rebounding. It will be hard to fill those shoes if she leaves.

I think that Mark will somethings with this team that was not done with them last season from what I hear that is work with the girls as a team not just certain players and develop them and their skills.

Word around Raceland today that McKee suffered both a high and low ankle sprain and will miss up to about a month of action. Tough loss for the rams, McKee was a very talented young player. Heres to a speedy recovery!

I know first hand that Mckee could be out from 5-10 days depends on how he does in pt I do not think it will be a month. Once again congrats to the players and coaches.

Congrats to all the Rams coaches and ball players a very good win good luck against Paintsville next week. I was told Shawn Reynolds pitched the entire game for the win. I dont have any more stats from the game.

Josh Wilson threw a complete game 2 hits 6k's. Huffman had the game ending hit to make it a 10 run lead. The Rams played a good game all around. Congrats on the win now get ready for the championship game on wednesday.

How did they do against Johnson Central?

The team was a little tired I believe left at 1:30 to play a game at 5:00pm but dont play it until 7:00pm then dont start the second game until 10:15pm that makes along day but then again they did have there chances also to take the JC game.

Raceland is looking alot better. Congrats to the Thompson kid threw a very good ball game. Keep up the good work coaches and players.

Raceland returns Tyler Boyles and Cody Barker. After them there is not alot of experience.

Bad choice I think for Rose Hill. I hear no one else really wanted it. He will struggle without having any real talented players.

The Rose Hill girls team will be better. He will make this team better I think that he is a better coach.

These games are played at Central Park saturday. Then the games are moved to Raceland starting monday not for sure of the times just yet should be around 5:30pm - 6:00pm.

Congrats to Tim on getting the GCHS job. He will do a fine job there just like he did for Rose Hill. I hope everyone lets him do his job as coach in Greenup.
