  1. I don't know where your coming from, but watching the running back due of Bret Denton and John-Scott Carver at Raceland is fun to watch and I assure you, if you like hard hitting running back football, you will be pleased.

The passing game is fun to watch as well. QB Tyler Boyles and several receivers; Todd Selvage, Thomas Watson, Bobby McKee and Brian Tolliver, is just as fun to watch.

Come and see them, I'll buy dinner.

Bobby Mckee will be a JR. this coming year. I do think this team will be fun to watch on both sides of the ball.

  2. Rams played a good all round game. Reynolds had Rose Hill off balance while throwing around 86 pitches in the win. Martin had a good game offensively and defensively, also Josh Reed had a good game at 3rd base made some nice plays. Dillion Keeton had a good game catching also I do not know when the last time he caught. Bobby McKee hit a homerun to right center with Carver on base after doubling in Martin after he hit a triple.

  3. I am curious if GC will throw Hieneman against the Rams or save him for Russell/Lewis winner providing they beat Raceland.

I bet Raceland throws their best. Almost have to the first game. If not I look for them to pitch Greenslate and then maybe Hieneman if the Rams are winning early.

  4. Tough one to lose for our Rams, like the others have said must have been a good one.

Keep your heads up Rams and stay focused and get ready for a very good East Carter team on Tuesday.

Congrats to the Tomcats on the win. Who pitched for both teams in this one?

Wilson pitched for the Rams 6 inn. 2bb 6k's 5 hits?

    Rigsby pitched for the Tomcats 6inn. 0bb 3k's? 6hits?

Adkins closed the game for the Tomcats 1inn 2ks 0bb

  5. So you are saying to let the play come to you, in other words -- these guys need to stay at home on the following plays:

Trap and Dive: NG, DT's, MLB

Boot and Sweep: DE's and OLB's

I would have the DE go as deep as the ball is and the corners to the line that will keep the runnner inside then your NG, DT and linebackers can make the play.

  6. Man you just love to keep proving my point for me.Dont you.:p

I have never said that they cost us the game if can not read than I do not what else to say I said that they(umps) was not good so get a clue. I stated that Raceland made mistakes that cost them the game.

  7. The past 2 games I have read about Raceland losing (Paintsville and LC) bad umpires were mentioned. Sorry if it seems like that is a common element on here when the Rams lose lately. Sorry if I got everyone woked up about it. I'm going to blame my previous post on bad umpires. I would have never made that post if the ump's would have been doing a better job.:p

Why dont you ask the Paintsville coach he even said it also and I was at the game againt Lewis the umps was not that good and was not consistent on their calls.:irked:

  8. The best defense against a Wing-T is one where the NG and MLB attack the FB trap and dive and you have strong, quick tackles capable of squeezing the play down. When the sweep and boot occur, your ends and LB's must be prepared to play C & D gap successfully.

If my math is correct -- that adds up to 8 players -- which is the 5-3 gap assignment defense that Coach Sammons runs.

What defense would you run against Russell's defense? I know that some defenses prefer to run the 3-3 stack, but that is the same thing as the 5-3 except the ends are walked out.

The defense better stay home and do some serious reading and the defense pretty much knows where the ball is going all you have to do is stop it.
