Sandman appears high on Holy Cross, not giving Beechwood much respect during the 1st round, Does Sandman know something we don't about either team?

Ross Hart the freshman coach at Beechwood will be a good one, would be nice if he had a little more to work with during his rookie year!

DO not under estimate Beechwood! Even without Romes they still match up well with Cov. Cath. except in the middle. Last night was by far Beechwoods worst game that I have seen and they still won by 26. It should be an exciteing game to watch!

What about gyms at Beechwood/Ludlow/NCC?

I have been in, and played or coached in all the big Indiana gyms, and yes they do take their basketball extemely serious there, but the best gym of all the Indiana gyms is in Knightstown Indiana where they filmed most of the the movie " Hoosiers". It is really a cool old gym. Acually there are a couple of those gyms in Indiana that hold over 10,000, New Castle field house being the largest I believe.

New to area, love basketball, where are the best gyms! to play on, watch a game, who has best fans etc. Who has the worst of all these also!

Should be a great D III game, Ludlow in double OT! They outlast Villa!

Newport Central Catholic, Newport, Beechwood, and Holy Cross should be favorites in the their region, but they are all in the upper bracket. Newport did just beat Beechwood, but the Tigers gave up a ton of offensive rebounds for put backs, which I am sure the coaching staff will address before their next game. NCC is playing well, and Holy Cross plays a monster schedule. Should be interesting, and exciting basketball in Dayton.

Newport should be a favorite in their region, they have great athletes, but they are young! Watch out next year, and the year after if they all stay at Newport! Beechwood gave up so many offensive rebounds against Newport it was as if they had never practiced blocking out! I am sure that is something their coaching staff will address before they play in the All A. Beechwood had a little more depth and better discipline than Newport! It will be a great rematch!

Holmes should be ranked much higher than they are, only loss was to a strong Male ball club! They handled a Davies Co. team which beat Boone relatively easy on friday at the Lloyd tourney!
