  1. HHS will have a Freshman team this year. They should be pretty good, I think several of the boys who won the Div. 1 A Knothole Championship will try out. They beat several tri-state Freshman teams as 8th graders.
  2. The Birds are 2-2. Losses to Lou. St. X and Ryle. Way to go Birds, what a great team effort.
  3. Here is a list of predicted doomsday dates...... all of which have failed http://www.2think.org/hundredsheep/skeptic/predictions.shtml
  4. Pete Collopy and Nick Seibert for NCC are both good athletes.
  5. The rb's were Seidl, Collinsworth and Streeter. The line did a great job last night. Those were some BIG boys on the other side of the ball. Schweitzer didn't play last night but will be back next week.
  6. When do the Freshman Schedules usually come out. I heard that Highlands Freshman were having a hard time scheduling games because no one wants to play us.
  7. The line should be good. A few names that come to mind are True, Schultz, Schroeder, Dee,Thome, Whitford,Zimmerman,Grimm,Shively. Most of these guys are big and can move pretty quick. Perfect for Dales system.
  8. There is a Brady Gosney that is currently in 4th grade and his uncle is Chris Gosney. I think HHS will need to wait a few more years to get there hands on him. He is a great little athlete.

  10. Happy Birthday:dancingpa This saves me from having to call you at home. Hope you are having a great day.
  11. I don't think the Bluebirds will have to recruit elsewhere. There is a A1(Freshman 08) team that made it to the Semi's that is mostly Ft. Thomas Kids and a B2(Freshman 09) team that is mostly Fort Thomas kids that made it the the finals. Both teams are Div. 1 Knothole.
  12. Got to have my coffee in the morning. I drink Folgers 1/2 Caff because I usually drink about 3 cups with 1/2 of a splenda and a little creamer. Some days and trust me with 2 teenage boys and a 9 yr old boy its the only thing that gets me out of bed. ::eek:
  13. The Fort Thomas Bulldogs are all 13 year olds, six of them will be going into the 8th grade at HMS. Our coaches are Dave Turner and Steve Seidl. We do have a good team but not sure how many will play baseball in highschool.
  14. My older son is playing for the Fort Thomas Bulldogs(B2- Div 1) and there tournament finals are tonight at Tealtown.
  15. Generals(D2) went down last night to a better team. Good Luck to the American Legion. The Bulldogs did win in a close 7 inning game. Finals tonight against the Amelia Heat at 6:30 at Tealtown.
  16. No problem. I'm sure theres probably more teams from Dist 22 still playing as well. It is a very exciting day at our house. My youngest son is with the Generals (D2)and they play tonight at 6:00 and my middle son plays with the Fort Thomas (Valvoline)Bulldogs and also has a game tonight unsure of the time. I hope the Bulldogs have the later game so I can try and make both. Hopefully we bring home 2 wins tonight.
  17. Also out of District 22 is the Valvoline Bulldogs B2 Div. 1, semis tomorrow night
  18. Also out of district 22 is the Valvoline Bulldogs B2 Div. 1
  19. My son plays B2-Div I and our home field is Bartlett. I don't think the fences are any shorter at Bartlett than other fields and they have played in Ky, OH and Ind. I only recall seeing about 6 homeruns(2 were my sons) and attend about 95% of the games. There team has a game tomorrow night at Tealtown(Eastgate area). GO BULLDOGS!!!!
  20. Try and find a Independent Agent in your area. Generally they write policies for several differenct Insurance Co. and can easily re-write your policy if your premium increases with another one of their Co. If you have a home I would definitely get a package policy(auto and home is with the same co.) this can save you money. Also, when calling to get a rate make sure you inform them if you have any accidents or tickets this can greatly increase your premium.
  21. I have 3 sons who have/are playing FTJFL and all have loved it. My oldest son was not born with alot of athletic ability and decided to play for the 1st time for FTJFL as a 8th grader. Not only did he learn about football but it also helped with his self confidence. He may not be the super star player for HHS (although he will try very hard)but he is at practice now because he loves the game and everything that comes with it. Thanks coaches and the FTJFL.
  22. My older son plays Division 1 knothole and we play teams from Ohio and Indiana. Whenever we have a home game (Bartlett Field) the opponents always comment on how nice of a facility we have. Which is great but If we can't play ball there whats the point.
