  1. Pikeville and Kelly Wells are very interrested in him.
  2. They would not trade Colon or Weaver anyway, because, if the Reds traded away Arroyo or Harang for a power guy with a high high high strikeout ability, would you be happy with that. No. And neither would the management, that is why they would not make that trade. And I would not want Colon, he could help with the now, but if we trade, we are looking forward to the future.
  3. Kobe is stuck in LA untill his contract runs out, if he REALLY wants out, which I don't think he does, he is just upset with the management. If they do trade him, the team he gets traded to will be so drained he will have to do more than he has to do in LA, which means scoring about 70 a game to win. In LA he has some young talent surrounding him in Farmar and Bynum. He still also has Walton and Odom and Kwame. They were a good team untill all the injuries last year. They will be the 5th or 6th team in the West behind the Spurs, Mavricks, Suns, Jazz, Denver, and maybe the Warriors, it really depends if they play playoff basketball in the regular season or barely scrape into the playoffs, and maybe even behind Houston with the coaching change. He is in the best position in LA for the one reason, he is UNTRADABLE.
  4. How about Dunn and Weathers for Houston Street. Long shot, but still worth a shot.
  5. A HUGE hole, and that hole is now filled................to the very top with strikeouts.
  6. I agree with this 100%. If they get good young pitchers in return, I would do it, or even a speedy young outfielder, not Nomar.
  7. We would get the most out of those 3 than any others, but I see what you are saying and I agree 100%. GOnzo has great range, Hatteberg is a great at-bat and fielder, and Griff is well, Griff. We get the most out of those though.
  8. The Reds have a good nucleus of young players: Hamilton, Hopper, Phillips, Encarnacion, Bruce in a couple of years, Joey Votto, Harang, Bailey, Livingston, Salmon, McBeth, Bray, Coutlangus, Sarloos, and Majewski. In a couple of years they will be good, but not without help from management. They need to build for the future. Trade away Dunn, Griffey (even though he is the best player on the team, he does not want to be here, he wants to win a Championship.), Hatteberg, Gonzalez, Lohse, Stanton, and Milton, for some young Bullpin help, because the rotation would be set, Harang, Arroyo, Belisle, Bailey, and Livingston. Then the bullpin would be Bray as a closer, McBeth as a 7th inning, or 8th inning guy along with Majewski because he will figure it out. Then find a good right handed shortstop to hit in the fourth spot and that won't make as many errors as Lopez and Gonzalez. The lineup would be good in a couple of years: Hopper- RF Phillips- 2nd Hamilton- CF _______- SS Encarnacion- 3rd Votto- 1st Bruce- LF Ross- C Pitcher spot- P
  9. Marion is the dream player for a team. Great defensively, athletic, and can score very well. Pheonix and their run-n-gun offense would miss him a lot. What would they use that 5th pick on do you think?
  10. I would be fine with trading Arroyo, but not Harang. Harang, along with Bailey, will be 1A and 1B for the Reds for many years to come if they stay with the Reds. Trade Arroyo, Dunn, and for Phil Hughes and Melky Cabrera of the Yankees. The Yankees are a starter away from being a contender I think, and now with Giambi gone, they need a 1st/DH of Dunn.
  11. He will have that many strikeouts in the next 5 years.
  12. We don't have Danny Graves anymore. :D :thumb:
  13. 6 innings, 4 runs, 6 strikeouts, and walks 3 (walks the first batter because he had got to be nervous). Leaves with a tie score 4-4, then experiences what all the other starters for the Reds have experienced, the Bullpin blowing the game, and he gets a no decision and gets sent back to the minors.
  14. The most impressive is that he would have been 228th place on the stolen bases list. That is what is going to get him into the hall, his 228th place on that list. Hahahaha.
  15. I would start out with Bradley, Crawford, Meeks, Patterson, and Carter. Then bring in Jasper because Bradley doesn't want to be a point guard, so move him to the 2 man. When Carter and Bradley need a break, bring in Stewart or Stevenson and Legion. That would be a small and young lineup, with Jasper, Meeks, Legion, Stewart or Stevenson, and Patterson, I believe they will be playing a lot with each other this year. Then when there is a tight game, put in Jasper to handle the ball, Meeks and Bradley for their scoring, Patterson for his defense and hustle, and Carter for his inside presence on offense and defense.
  16. And only 17. If he turns out good, he will have to wait until he is 19 to go to the NBA, so that will mean we are guarenteed 2 years with him.
  17. Thats why I said Dunn, Milton, and Lohse maybe for Lidge and Wandy Rodriguez or Chad Qualls. Then the rotation would be Harang, Arroyo, Belisle, Livingston, and "The great one" Bailey. But, who knows if the Astros are still interrested in Dunn, they have Pence, Lee, and Scott/Burk, who is to say they want Dunn to be in the outfield, becuase we already know they don't want him to play first, Berkman is there.
  18. Yes we would. Put him in the Yankee's lineup, he would strikeout hust as much, just not walk as much.
  19. I agree, with Hopper hitting for average, and Bruce and Hamilton, they will be a yound and good outfield, but will Bruce be ready in 2 years?
