Who did I personal attack? So does Harlan play Cumberland and Evarts? personally if I were in New Harlan I would not want to play Harlan. They are not in the same category as far as I can see and probably wouldn,t be much of a game for them as I hear. I hate to lose evne if by default though but I don't know anyone on hear to be personal attacking them. Bayshore-- You still can't argue the facts and you continue to dodge once again the point. answers the facts. Why down grade your schedule?(which Harlan has done) Is a 1-1 record with a win against pineville a success?(which is what Harlan is now) and Why not play the county teams?(which they refuse to do!) I am not down playing 11-14 year old kids who love the game of football because I am sure that they just want to play. I am down grading the powers to be who want to paint a false picture of what is the facts about Harlan football.

It has to do with the two year contract deals ,shedule, and existing classes. I see where you are coming from in that it may not be fair to the orginal 3A schools. But we should also be fair to Harlan County and their players. IF you want to be sore at someone then it should be towards KHSAA. Get them to re-class every year and not every two years. Your post should not have Harlan County in it by lets lobbie KHSAA to re-class every year. By the way you would not happen to be from Powell Co. ?

Greer will be one, Carton will be the other, and as far as the third it really don't matter with those two. Heck even that old fart Dudley could suit up as the third and that would still be one of the best backfields in estern Ky.

I feel like coach Ivan is doing a execellent job with getting everything out of every position he has on the field. That is why we have had sucess and will continue to do so. As a former player I know that I would run through a brick wall for him.

As a outsider looking in and reading all of these posts it really sounds like Harlan Ind. is not wanting to compete with Harlan Co., but as one person previously posted wants to ride Harlan Co. coat tails. What I have observed and it is only an observation, is that Harlan Ind. wants the county/city bowl to exist, but is not willing to play against Harlan Co. (Right ?) This must mean that they do want all of the 1400 students as one said and all of their parents to attened the County/City bowl. This resulting in the City getting a very Large gate every other year without playing the County. As an outside observation is sounds like the City wants the Countys money but not the competition on the field. Just my observations.::

So does that mean HCHS will play Lynn camp the county team and Harlan Ind. Will play Corbin the city school. ????????

I had heard that Carton was seen going to passing comp. with Knox. any truth to this or is it just hear say.

It is my understanding that by law the school board can NOT deal with employees, such as hiring and firing. However what goes on behind closed doors in another issue. They hire the superintendet, who hires the principal, who hires the coach. So is the principal going to go against the superintendent more than likely NOT. So with that in mind who has the job?

Heard that Head Coach stepped down yesterday. Was this a planned thing, really close to the start of the session to be looking for a new coach? Who will be his replacement.
