Seems like the last time Ashland/Lewis played in the regional tourney was in the semifinals in 2004 and it went into double overtime with Ashland winning. Im not sayin the games gonna be that good this year but its still on the Lewis Co. players minds and they want revenge. Thomas was an 8th grader then so he definately has some experience and it will take his and McDavids leadership to help them win. Ashland 65-Lewis 58

Russell played great first half going 6/6 from three the 1st quarter. Ross turner stepped up and hit two 3's to get them started and they jus kept goin. Russell had a 28-11 lead( at end of first ) which was a dagger to lewis. Lewis made nothing the first quarter and started to heat up later, lewis cut it to 8 in the third but gill stepped up with some dunks and that gottem fired up. good luck and regions to both.

Raceland 63 Russell 62 Biggest upset of 16th region boys or girls?

Russell will have to step it up, with the 16th region m.o.p.(IMO) out. Lewis Co fans will be fired up and Hampton will have them playin there best. Marty Ruggles played well against Greenup and Shawn Zornes is feelin better. it will take good guard play from Britt, F. Witten, and Owens and big defensive stops from Enix and Lykins to beat Russell and Turner and Gill will have to play great on offense to replace J.V. This game will come down to the wire, probably no more then a 5 point game
